But this is only 14k, so 58.5% pure I believe. Either way I think it would ru. It around $1400 melt, but it's worth more than that on a resale market. Plenty more.

Only seen one ring bigger, 103 grams..14k... will not post because of the possibilities.

Congrats on your find!!! Im having a very hard time believing it weighs 2 ounces. Looking at your pictures with other coins it looks like it might weigh a 1/2 ounce. Show it on a scale.

It defiantly weights more the 1/2 oz, my guess would be closer to 40 grams

That's about what I figured.. I also figured the 2oz was a guess, as most dirt guys aren't as used to weights as beach pirates...

Either way...

Still beats any of the 200+ rings I've found...
