Detecting in 1 ft of snow?

10 years ago we stopped at a snow pile at the end of supermarket parking lot and had a snow ball fight. As I dug in the snow, I eyeball found a Franklin Mint .925 with 14k eagle on onyx. I sold it but the pic shows the same style.

Never thought of detecting in the sled hills....boy, if I still lived up north, I'd do it for sure.
