Hello.... My name is Snowypete ( newbie.)

I thought I'd drop in and say hello.
I've been detecting for around 25 years,
started with a Fisher 555D,
and am currently the proud owner of a new Explorer SE.

I still have a Tesoro Corte's with ( apart from the standard coil )
a 4",a 5"widescan,a 10" concentric, plus a 5.75" concentric coil.

I have had a ball with the lovely light Tesoro,
but have previously had two Explorers,an XS, and an Explorer II...
The Corte's is great ~ ~ but when Minelab brought out the Explorer SE I had to have one.

Re: Hello.... My name is Snowypete ( newbie.)

Thanks Kevin,I'll do that.
My best finds so far would have to be an 1872 British florin coin, and a silver masonic locket...

I also am lucky in that my good wife loves to detect with me, she loves her Tesoro Cibola.

Welcome to the forum!

If you're interested in selling one of those "extra" detectors, if you haven't already, shoot me an email. I'm considering buying another to add to our family.

Welcome!

Howdy! It's good to see you over here on this forum. I've only been here a week myself.

Some familiar names, some new. I like some of what I read, but I don't care for the format. It makes it tough to follow-up on posts and topics.

Monte

PS: My 'new' Bandido II ?MAX arrives today, and we should have a break in the rainy weather after tomorrow afternnon. :) Good luck on your detecting jaunt.
