Which are the best Headphones?

I am looking to buy hopefully before christmas. I do relic and coin and have been eyeing the Gray Ghost deep wood phones as well as RAT phones and then there is always the killer Bees. I am leaning most towards the RAT phones I guess mostly because they are rated well and everyone in my club seems to be sporting Gray Ghosts and I want to try something different. What does everyone think?

Well most people won't agree with me probably but I have used CalRad or Garrett ( $25.00) for 27 years and cannot imagine finding more than I have been. Just my 2 cents worth, steve in so az

I don't know anything about Rat phones but I use the original Grey Ghosts and like them...

I think the main thing to consider is comfort. Never tried the expensive ones you listed. I started with a pair of CalRad's and found them very uncomfortable - the cans where too small for my ears. But I find the Garretts very comfortable.
