A couple of finds today!

These both came from a field in the countryside around Antrim(Northern Ireland). The iron peg/naill is about 6 inches long. Anyone have any idea what something of this size would have been used for. Also is there anyone who would have an idea of the age of the buckle? The buckle is officially my best find to date!

the buckle would be placed on womens dresses to keep that mischevious breeze from causing them an embarrassing moment:roll:
