Safety message

I used to hunt without them. Something about the feel of this sandy loam is amazing, but I learned my lesson during a night hunt and sliced my finger.

I will sometimes wear gloves-- but only if it is real muddy.

Folks don't need to get to excited or get in a hurry.

For those without pinpointers-- gloves are a good idea.

But those with pointers-- they will be alright if they heed the above.

About the third time I ever detected (started last spring) I was cleaning out a hole and never even felt a small piece of glass lay my finger open. Always wear at least thin nitrile coated gloves now.

I should wear gloves. I've cut my hands (finger tips) a few times and bleed like a pig.. But I only do when it's really cold...

Not much for gloves, even at work (mechanic) but a good tough sole is another story. Ive been impaled by two rusty nails so far, not looking for a third. Tactical boots have been saving my a$$ lately

Gloves are a must, and these let you have plenty of feel still.
