Copper Hair or Scarf Slides??

Good Evening to All,

Two attachments here of copper slides found in Porter County, Indiana. The homesteads they were found at dated from the late 1800s. Does anyone have photos or can you give a description as to what they are called and how they were worn?

Thanks HuntinDog. Yes, looks like there was probably a small pin soldered to it. These must be somewhat common. I only started detecting this summer and have found three already.
