Where do I go to get a metal detecting permit (a as in so I don't get arrested)?
Who would you contact?

What state are you in and permit to hunt where? Parks, beaches?

Depends where you want to detect. Who is the owner or governing body? Try to meet someone personally and get permission for that spot in writing. GL and HH. Matt

I`m not in the US!
So if you see a nice field or something just ask the landowner for permission, right?
