Since I have had no luck finding Sanborn maps for my town I contacted a librarian at the LOC and within 3 days had 2 map sheets from 1908 emailed to me. I sure appreciate them.

They have a cool website too, I use it all the time to read old newspaper articles, look at old 1800's/early 1900's pictures & also research maps..

Its a pretty good resource.

I also have spent hours on hours reading and researching old newspapers. If you love history, know your dates, locations topics, you can search it all day long. Here is the link that I use.

That is an interesting resource except that Arkansas newspapers havent been digitized yet. Thanks though.
