Found today at the sandpit(swimming hole). It looks to be a 1928 class ring from Kingsville High School in Texas. There also looks to be initials on V.O. inside. Anyone in Texas got any resources to trace the owner?

i forwarded this to the editor of the local paper. thought it would make a great story if they could find the owner or relatives.

More than likely the owner is no longer with us... if they graduated in 28 they would be 96 now... I have a 1913 school ring and I won't bother trying to find the owner or for the 1925 ring I found.

Great looking rings though.

96 Wow, maybe his family would want it though

Or maybe you would like to have it? :D
Don't even wear a wedding ring. When I started working on computers, it was dangerous to wear any jewelry when your hands are in a pc. Now if I wear rings I get a metallic taste in my mouth and green fingers. Go figure...must be my HORMONES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Besides after 37 years of marriage I think I know where my heart lies.:)

what are those class rings made of then?.. are they precious metal or alloy :?:

Today it depends on what you want to spend on a class ring, most are 10k or 14k gold.............
