Found a 72 cal bullet today!

I went out to a new spot today at for a short hunt, didn't find much but what I did find was a 72 cal 3 ringer! Wow that is one seriously huge bullet! :shock:

I also found a base from a shell, maybe a Hotchkiss shell not sure, and another frag.

This is the same bullet that Killed William B. Travis at the Alamo on March 6, 1836 and he took it in between the eyes..

That is one big ole hunk of lead. Nice find! Looks like a Hotchkiss base to me. :thumbsup:
