Well my Equinox arrived today, but it's way to hot to go hunt. I did not care for the straight cord on the Minelab headphones and I just happen to have a spare coiled cord so I decided to remove the straight cord and add the coiled cord. about an hour later I've got a rockin set of headphones.

Nice job! That coiled cord should make those into useful headphones.
You'd think that Minelab would have included a decent headphone product with this All Terrain detector instead of the cheap junk they provided. I got about 4 hours on mine before they quit. Now I'm using my old detector while I wait for a new pair from minelab. I have ordered the stuff to build my own headphones because I honestly don't trust the Minelab Equinox phones to survive more than a half day or so.
