If your new to the machine don't worry so much about #'s. listen for good solid audio repeatable hits. Much more accurate than #'s!

Only I would say don't rely on the numbers. They are only a confirmation/indication that a target is in a certain range. Depth, soil conditions, target orientation, and a host of other factors weigh in on the exact number displayed. The characteristics of the tones associated with good targets vs junk is something that just takes time to learn.

Is that same chart good for the Minelab 305 ??
