I had the chance to get out today. A friend and I decided to go inland some -as we usually hunt only coastal fields. The walk was about one mile from the truck to an old house that dates back to the 1800's. My first hit was a 88 on the AT Pro. Started digging and out pops this 1831 half dollar! My oldest largest silver coin to this date. Second dig about 3 feet from this find was the musket ball!! A few other finds from today included two buttons and some type of 25 cent token. I'm pumped!!!

Thanks for the recommendation. I submitted the pics-hopefully I'll hear from them soon. A couple of years ago -they published a 1749 King George of mine!
