Default Sand shark gasket

Hi, All. I have a Tesoro Sand shark. I have not used it for 1 and 1/2 years due to health reasons. I'm getting her ready for the water. How often should i change the gasket on the control housing. I did clean and grease it last time i used her. I have extra gaskets and grease. Thank's all.

Default

I would closely visually inspect the entire gasket for any nicks, tears or cracking and if none re-grease gasket and keep using
