Garrett Ace 250? again

Ive never used a detector. Im thinking about getting this detector because its in my price range and seems good.

Can it find old coins, gold and silver? Is it easy to use for an extreme begginer?

Also, Im going to NH on Wednesday and I want to get it before I go. Two retail stores carry it. Dicks sporting goods and sports authority. Im planning on calling them tommorow to see if its in stock. Im just wondering if anyone bought the Ace 250 from one of them? and they had them in stock.

I got mine via the internet. I did quite a bit a research before I decided on the Ace 250. I am glad I bought this unit, I love it. For the price, it's a great machine!!!

I am new at this as well, I bought mine on the net at www.detection.com , it's $212.45, free shipping, ups, + 5 free gifts.
Got it yesterday, happy with the purchase, now I just have to learn how to use it!

People on this forum have been very helpful in making my decision on what to buy.
