Potential new spot to hunt. Dont have much info on it as of yet. Doesnt show up on any topos..bavk to 1960 anyway.

Rough guess would be late 1700’s early 1800’s just basing it on construction style and the fact that it’s still standing.

Any idea what the material is between the stone?

Also what part of the country are you from?
 
It looks like the chimney is very large,compared to the trees and general landscape. I’m guessing this means a large house and possibly wealthier? Just guessing...good luck!
 
Definately hunt that.

I would suggest using Google maps or Earth and Historic Aerials to locate the boundries of the property and to find the front and back yards or boundries to help pinpoint the best places to hunt.

I would also check out any flat open areas behind or to the sides of the property, where people may have congregated.
