So I have no idea I can make out 18 but nothing else maybe a 9 at the end. Looks to be facing left about the same size as a nickel but paper thin from the wear I'm guessing. back is corroded but I see something in the middle but can't really make it out. Any clue? Sorry don't have a scale to weigh it but again the wear would probably throw that off and also with the diameter. Thanks if anyone has any idea. I also added a pic with it up against a Jefferson nickel to show how thin it is.

What does it VDI?

Last night it was a jumping from 60-80 but that's because of the Merc with it air test it's a solid 50 on the at pro and on the etrac it's 12-05 must be some sort of foreign coin I don't know maybe a v nickel it's so thin that might be effecting the numbers I'm not sure sorry for the bad Grammer having a bad day

First off, congrats on the merc and the double dig! I, too am thinking "V" nickel.
That's a great shot, comparing the thickness with a Jefferson. If it is a nickel, of any kind, it's a great example of the term "toasted".
Some toothpick scratching, a little buffing with a soft cloth, and side lighting might reveal enough details to ID it.

Looks like a nickel to me. If you have the tools, weigh and measure the diameter.
Possibly wetting will show a bit of detail for you to id it.
