Button/Cufflink?

Found this detecting an old 1800’s homesite and Civil War campsite. Looks like a button or some sort of cufflink. It’s smaller than a US dime. The back is very rusted but the front looks like it could be made of some sort of pewter type metal. I have no idea what the symbol on the front is other than some sort of animal glyph. Any ideas?

It’s upside down in the pics. It’s a steam locomotive.

Ohhhhhh... I see it now. Ha...looks like the farmer lost a button plowing the field. Thanks for the info.
