Thanks, all! Still on a high! Can't wait to show the silver to my little nephew, who is really excited to go detecting with me this weekend.
I used the Deus, and this was interesting. It wasn't deep, but, because it was sitting vertically, it presented as a very small and deep high tone. I'm not sure if the ATP would have found it or not. There's not much of a depth difference, in my experience, between the two, but this felt like it was at the edge of what my Deus (9" coil, stock program #5) would detect. In any case, I won't be able to use the ATP for a time, because I have to send it in for service (now making uncontrollable and random beeping).
