Had to do some business at the Meijer service counter this evening and I decided to take the long way out past the Coinstar. Spied some dirty-looking pennies so I scooped out a 1923, 32, 39, 44, two 45, and a 43-S nickel.

Just as always, everytime I score the CS machine it's always afternoon or evening with a busy, noisy store when everybody (including the workers) are occupied. Have NEVER found anything in the morning.

Beats my one score in seven years of checking. I usually just find a few crumbs of dirt. My one score was a clad 2017 dime. But I check every one I walk by.

Nice score! Those are in far better shape than most dug wheat pennies and war nickels. For example; here are the wheat pennies and war nickel I dug yesterday:

Congrats on the awesome score ! After a long , dry spell I've been scoring a bit at the coinstars also . Just a few cents at a time , nothing good like that though .
