Half decent first detector. Works to decent depths. No pinpoint feature and I had trouble pinpointing using the X method. I feel an Ace 250 would be a better choice as would a F2 or Coinmaster Pro. JMHO.

I agree. I have had 1 and the lower shaft is very cheaply made and easy to break.

I had one. I gave it to a kid.
I got some more expensive ones now,
but the $152 Tesoro Compadre is one
of my favorites.
The Ace 250 and the Silver uMax would
be a better choice than the QD II also.
