I found a silver plated platter whyile helping my mom clean out some stuff for a garage sale and she told me I could have it. Well after cleaning it I found a maker's mark and have come to find out it was only silver plated and the only other one I could find didn't sell on eBay for $5.99.

So the question now is what to do with it?

I also found a Wm. Rogers 10" platter pattern number 869 but I have yet to find any other info on it other than a possible range of dates it was made in. I'm pretty sure most of their stuff was silver plated as well but when I find out more I'll post the info.

thanks I'll have to take it to get checked out. My stepbrother's mother in law owns an antique store and she will let me know if it's real or not and she will also sell it for me
