I've been hoping for platinum and it finally happened -- a nice 10.9 gram ring! Also found a spot full of some of the crustiest coins I've ever come across. Oddly, the one in the best condition of the lot is the oldest, a '57 wheat. Topped it off with 3 Chucky Cheese tokens. Woop de do! :laughing:

Not surprising the wheat is in the best condition... all copper. Personally, I believe the copper pennies found in circulation today are like yesterday's silver coins.
