The Forgotten machine...... January/March totals so far.

This is January and February also some of March totals up so far. 11 Gold rings (sold one to the neighbor). I have a CTX but do not swing it that much. Only if it going to rain or working large holes or kiddy pools. Out of the 11 gold only one was found with the CTX. The rest was found with Minelab Quattro. I hardly ever post my finds on forums but this only to make point that you do not need the best machine on the market to find gold.

My heaviest wedding band so far this year.

I agree about machines. Thoroughly knowing what your machine is telling you and where to use it is more important than what it cost. You are not going to buy your way to success in this game.

Back when I river fished a lot I didn't pay any attention to the guys in head to toe Orvis waving $1,000 fly rods around. It was the guy with a forked stick and bucket of minnows you had to watch out for. :grin:
