Great collection! I was a serious angler, when I lived closer to water, and didn't have as many hobbies. Still love to fish, as well. I had a nice little collection of reels and lures.
Those are the pictures of what I sold...
I still have some really nice pieces I'm hoping to die with...

Very Nice Ice, I have MANY of those spoons and spinners. Nice display, I would have bought it, lol
I can really see how a guy could get hooked on collecting this stuff
Cool collections guys!
Thanks Mud, happy you enjoyed themGreat pics! Many Memories of un-ravelling a birds nest out of those old reels! Old spring steel poles like a fencing saber! Oh Boy could you whip some @ss with one of those!
Then, here comes the Zebco 202 and its like Magic! Many of us I'm sure have tried to make our own lures...some not bad actually...out of metal or wood or tying flies using the dogs hair even! When I was 10, with the help of my Dog George, and some sewing thread, I came up with a fly called the 'Poodle Popper', that just killed gills on the beds!
I like watching Larry Dahlbergs lure making and fishing vids with his Whopper Plopper...Those danged Muskies are all over that one!.....That one new Umbrella rig is pretty slick too...
Thanks hoser, happy you enjoyed themI really love old fishing equipment. I don't really collect it much, just a few reels, and some old lures as I come across them. The collections in the pics above are over the top cool. Congrats and well done on your collections.
