Get some toggle boots on there to keep the dirt and sand out.
 
Congrats on the new toy!!!!!You will love it,it is a great machine.When I go to the beach I use plastic zip-lock bag 1 Gal capacity, that I put right over the control box before mounting it on the shaft.Than I use some duct tape to additionally seal the bottom ,helps against water dust,dust and splashes :yes:

Congrats Z! Always a great feeling to head out for that first hunt with a new detector. You should make a killing on those beaches of yours. I hear that it is like the Excal so be patient as there should be a learning curve the first several times out. HH!
 
Thanks all! I'm going to really take the time to learn it, alot of sitting on my porch with different targets and training my ear to get the subtle differences. I've noticed in my little air testing that it does not hit on small bimetalic coins, i guess the stainless ring overwhelms the brassy centers, but on the larger bimetalic coins it hits a nice high tone.
Going for a spin on friday....
