I'm from western PA. CITY OF CHAMPIONS! I am fairly new to detecting only been at it for a little over a year. Hope to learn alot from this site. if you want to get together some weekend let me know. HH to all.

I'm from Pittsburgh too! South Hills area. I'm new to detecting. Just started this summer and I am dreading winter because I enjoy it so much. I'll be very interested in where you go and what you find :D
 
North Park Lake

Hi There,

I'm from Southwestern PA.

I heard on NPR they'll be draining North Park Lake which is not far outside of Pittsburgh. If anyone in the area (or anywhere else) thinks that would be a worthwhile hunt, I'd be interested in joining up. I'm not sure if you're allowed to detect there or not, and they said it would take a few months to drain completely.
