Been dodging the crappy weather lately trying to find time to detect. I found the "13" charm last month at my trashy park. Rang up as a 21 on the nox. Had to excavate under a tree root to free it. Couple days later, pulled the 35 merc from the same park. It was a weird signal, 21 and choppy from one direction and a consistent 27-28 from 90 degrees. Its wasnt very deep but it was on edge and in a tangle of fine tree roots.
The heart pendant i pulled from a park in Sacramento. Was a little sketchy at times but had time to kill. Was pretty shallow rang up like a dime. The front says "To my love" and has a small clear atone embedded, and the back is inscribed with a date 10-28-77.
This past saturday I hit a school that I've hunted before with minimal success but thought i would try again now that i have a firm grasp of the nox. I wandered to the middle of the field and got a steady hit in the high 20's. Pleasantly surprised to see the 42 mercury in the hole as its the only silver ive found here.
Thanks for looking.
