Did a little beach camping over thanksgiving and got to detect the beach on Black Friday. Only a couple hours at two sections of beach. Second section was south beach, in the evening with headlamp, found the silver ring :) also found a cool piece of an older Ford key.

I was hunting with little to no disc, didn’t want to miss anything. Didn’t get a pic of the second hunts trash pile.

No gold darn it but next time!

Happy hunting!

Congrats on the silver! What's the foreign coin?

Like your digs!

When stationed in Port Hueneme I would drive by Leo Carrillo Beach on trips home.

Excellent hunt bud! Congrats!

Thanks Jeff :)

Nice ring, congrats!

Thank you!

Thanks Ron, and thank you for your service! It’s an interesting area with a lot of open space which is nice, aside from all the range rovers.

Sweet! It would be cool to camp out on a beach and hunt it for a while. Nice work!

Thanks Mud. The camp was a short walk to the beach and there was a busier beach a bit further south (Zuma?) that I actual saw a guy getting out of his car with what looked like a bounty hunter, getting ready to hit that beach.

This beach seemed lesser used but has some history, never know!

Great finds GS. That key looks like it may be from the 50's or 60's.

Thanks! Yeah I think so on the key, thought it was kinda cool. Wish I had more detecting time there to see what else I could turn up!

Great hunt, GS! :)

Thanks X!

Few other finds from the hunts.

I found a buried truck once maybe you can go back and find a 57 Ford Galaxy and the key will fit.
