Thanks Waveoff! It is hard to believe the coin is 222 years and the date was still visible. And I been through that general location a few times and missed it, perhaps I just never put my coil over it.

Jak, you're not fooling us west coast guys. We read the show & tell forums too. And it's plain to see that LCs (and busts, and colonial coppers and reales) are brimming out of every sandbox. 'Fess up !
