Tungsten rings have always felt a lot lighter than gold to me, but ive heard there are fake gold bars made out of Tungsten. They must be close to the same density.

The tungsten carbide rings I have found have always seemed heavy, like gold. Finding them at night has always fooled me. These gold colored ones will make it even more challenging at night! :no:

I thought it felt to heavy to be gold. I just weighed it and it was 15.2 grams. Not as heavy as I thought.

The gold color fooled me. All the other tungsten, titanium rings I have found were grey color.

Thats right! Titanium was what I was thinking of when I said they seem lighter than gold. I havent found a tungsten ring yet.

Tungsten is crazy heavy, way heavier than it looks..

I know the pain. Saturday on Tybee beach I had a good signal in the gold range. Popped out this big shiny ring. Thought I had me some white gold. Nope tungsten. What a bummer.
