Didn't know they came in gold color. Found it on a swimming area at a local lake. Thought I had hit the jackpot until I picked it up and felt the weight.

Yep - they come in gold tone and some others as well. :roll: Still a nice looking ring.

LOL...... welcome to the real world.:lol: Those babies look good in the scoop dont they?

I thought it felt to heavy to be gold. I just weighed it and it was 15.2 grams. Not as heavy as I thought.

The gold color fooled me. All the other tungsten, titanium rings I have found were grey color.

Thats right! Titanium was what I was thinking of when I said they seem lighter than gold. I havent found a tungsten ring yet.

Tungsten rings have always felt a lot lighter than gold to me, but ive heard there are fake gold bars made out of Tungsten. They must be close to the same density.

You must be thinking of titanium..

Tungsten is crazy heavy, way heavier than it looks..

<°)))>{

I know the pain. Saturday on Tybee beach I had a good signal in the gold range. Popped out this big shiny ring. Thought I had me some white gold. Nope tungsten. What a bummer.
