So I had closed my year down last weekend, it's all over said I .. too much sand!

On Christmas Day my hunting partner was visiting relations at the beach for Christmas lunch and happened to notice a huge high tide washout at our favourite beach.

So today we ventured for a look .. at least a metre of sand had been removed up at the high tide mark.

After 3 hours I had scored a variety of targets plus a silver 925 ring and a 375 gold band.
He also scored an old 9ct Signet ring and a 9ct Pendant.
