MD for brass & iron 2' - 3' deep

We are a small business that needs to locate brass or ductile iron water valves that are located approx. 2' to 3' deep in sandy soil. Can anyone suggest which detector might do the trick? We've done a little research, but most reviews, etc. talk about locating in inches rather than feet.

Are most of the lower end model that you find at hobby stores just for shallow finds? Are we limited to pricier "professional" models? It will probably just be used for a specific job rather than long term use.

A lower priced Bounty Hunter should have no problems with that depth....

Any bounty hunter at wal mart will be sufficient for what you're trying to accomplish. Report back if you find a hoard of gold coins.
