Hunting on Padre Island, but felt like I was in London.

This was a crazy trip. It was super foggy on the beach and at least one of the finds was real, real out of place for deep South Texas. It made me realize just how big an international destination my beloved Island really is. Here's this weeks journey.

Nice hunt!
How do you like the equinox right in the water? Stable, chattery?
It's been VERY stable for me in our salt water. It's one of the main reasons I went with the equinox. I used a Bounty Hunter Quick Draw Pro for a long time, but I wanted to get into salt water hunting since I live so close to Padre and Mustang Islands. BH detectors just don't work worth a flip in the salt water. The Nox was the best balance of performance and price.

The only time I've gotten lots of chatter on the Nox is when I am anywhere near power lines.... either overhead or underground. Have to stay several feet away from them. More distance than I expected. Other than that it's been fantastic.
