Good afternoon everyone,
I took my 10x5 Coiltek coil for the equinox (father's day gift) for it's maiden voyage today. I went to a local park where I have pulled 1000+ coins in the past two years and is a place I go for clad when time is short.
The Coiltek did well with 57 coins in 3 hrs and 19 nickels. Nothing old as expected, but one of the nickels was a 1970-S.
Were 1970-S in circulation or were they old sold in proof sets? This nickel is not in proof condition for sure, but I don't find that many "s" mints here in the Heartland of America.
Thanks,
Rob
