Default New spot yields goodies, possible confederate button

Got permission to do my Great uncles land that I've been eyeing up for some time now. Found 5 wheat pennies the first day I was there, a 1917,18,19,24, and 46. Also a 1920 merc and an 1882 indian head. Went back this morning and dug a few more keepers including the 2 dog taxes, a 1916 and I can't read the date on the other one. Also dug the button, which appears to be a civil war confederate officers button. Anyone that can give me any insight? It's just shy of an inch in diameter, and has 11 stars surrounding an eagle. I can faintly make out "treble" on the back. All in all a great morning of swinging!!

Thumbs up

In Alberts book it is CS19, I believe. If that is the one, and I think it is, it has an RV factor of 75. You found a rare one of the rare ones. Regards

Thanks for the info, I'll have to check out that book sometime, here's another one I found at my grandmothers, the same place I found my 1851 buckle. It's what I believe to be a 13th regiment button from pa? Was curious to see if it's in alberts button book as well???
