My dad and I tried to make one once too and it wasn't half bad
It is incredibly hard to make a hobo nickel that didnt start out as a buffalo nickel. The reason there are so many buffalo nickels, is one the time period, and two they are really easy to scratch away.
That's against the law - defacing government property... but it looks really cool.
That's interesting, Plant it on a beach and make someones day.
Anyone know what the tool of choice is for doing this?
