Default What the heck is this thing? (Solved!)

Found it detecting this morning.

What the heck is it?

My mind says it was a ring with a neat little poison shooter thingy on the side.

Never would have guessed!
Although I have to say-- I really like the poison-shooter idea too. Maybe it's owner squirted poison in somebody's eyes and then ditched the squirt-ring in the ocean in order to cover up the crime...
