I wonder this all the time! Perhaps one I think about the most often was when I found 3 fully intact early 1900's Pond's Cold Cream glass containers with lids buried under a tree within a 1ft radius. Why were they there? Nothing was in them (I broke one open trying to unscrew the lid with pliers). Was it because there was no trash service back then? Did some young lady bury them to hide them for some reason? Do the other two have something in them? Was it just a case of weirdness? I'll never know.
