Post your pets

Mudd it never fails!!!! My wife is looking at me like I'm stupid......I'm laughing and tears are rolling!!!

I get that look without me even laughing.

Mud that rattle snakes look like he could make a pet out of the young man if the snake was alive. I grew up on south Georgia and have seen some large rattle snakes but never one even came close to that one.

In May I found a very young baby bird in the middle of the road. No place to leave him so I took him home. Amazingly he survived.

After a month I released him.

He came back.

After nearly a dozen releases with close calls from a hawk, snake and cat plus the other birds kept kicking his butt, we decided he could stay. We were given a huge cage we put in our sunroom. At dawn I open the cage doors and at night I close him up. He virtually housebroke himself because he flies into the cage to relieve himself.

He’s as smart as any crow and has shown great problem solving skills.

My wife put his own Christmas tree in his room. It’s covered with shiny objects which he loves to steal and hide.

I do a nearly daily Facebook post and he has followers on 3 continents. Because of demand I am writing a children’s book on him to be followed by an adult version.

His name is Roscoe and he’s a male Northern Cardinal.

Blue Duck

He was born almost a year ago while we were watching Lonsome Dove right in the middle of the BLUE DUCK crazy Indian segment, he's a blue Merle Chihuahua so... now he's "BLUE DUCK"! But we just call him Blue😊

Darn COOL!

My little buddy magi

Found this little guy tied up to the bumper of a car with a shoelace around his neck. He follows me around everywhere. Glad to have saved him.

I can't have pets where I live now. While still on the farm I had a large German Shepard named Rex. I'm 6'1'' and he would put his paws on my shoulders and lick me in the face. I got him because he had put a couple of kids in the hospital and the owner had to get rid of him. He had been constantly teased to make him mean. At first I couldn't get close to him but he soon realized that I wasn't going to hurt him and within a month we were the best of friends. He still remembered those who had teased them and I had to watch him so he didn't attack them. I told them that he was my dog now and didn't have to put up with being teased any longer. He finally died of old age and I still miss him.

That was really great of you, with how some animals are mistreated I really appreciate people who watch out for helpless animals

My wife spoils this one, and she whines until my wife gives in.
