1890s cork top flask I think

Got out for the first time last weekend and hit the creek dump. Found this outside of a fresh burrow. Not exactly sure but it looks like an 1890s cork top flask. Let me know if I'm wrong. Also found a few other neat things that I will post later.

Cork Top

If the side seam goes all the way up the neck and through the lip it is 1903 and newer. if it only goes up part way its between 1880 and 1903. It is a liquor flask. cool find.

It's pretty dirty but I can see the circle of an empty slug plate. Sometimes the bottler's name and location would be embossed in it.

Here's a pic of the seam. The bottom is marked 949. If anyone wants me to post a pic of the bottom I will. Very wobbly bottle.

Definately not machine-made, pre-1903 with that tooled/applied top.

Slug plate is blank. This is the oldest bottle I've found in this dump. Looking forward to getting out again once this 2 feet of snow melts.

Yes it was blown in a mold pre 1903. Where it says "full pint" makes it a later 1800's flask. Most likely 1880-1903. The slug plate had a paper label on it at one time. Nice find!
