I drove up to Canaveral shores about a week ago for a hunt. Not much the show for the 6 hours, but I enjoyed being out. Some clad junk jewelry and a token. No Gold. I'm going to go south next time.

Thanks Worm. Even though there wasn't any gold or silver, it was still a enjoyable hunt.

Token is unique, so I can't say I'd call it getting skunked.
Space coast is a challenging but often rewarding place. When I worked in the cape, I stayed on the beach and hunted on the daily. Lots of competition from the folks waiting or returning from cruises, but also lots of Orlando visitors making day trips to see the ocean.

You are right DaviDs. I was lucky to find the token. That one was a first for me. But the gold skunked me and kicked my butt as well. But any day detecting is a good day. I may go to Daytona or New Smyrna Saturday.
The Space cost is tuff to hunt as is the Treasure coast. But I love both of them.
