inland sand dunes...

hi,

has anyone searched inland sand dunes? the idea struck me that since i don't have easy access to beaches to start using my garrett treasure hound that i might consider sand dunes instead...

I am not sure what you might find.. or where to begin looking... the beach has bathers, blanket sitters, swimmers etc... those dunes, as I recall, are pretty desolate. Unless you find a place where the kids hold keggers, not sure what else might be there.. .perhaps others have some good ideas.. RickO

Most places don't let people on the dunes because it disturbs wildlife.

yes, i don't think that it would be that great. dumont sand dunes lets people on to them with sand rails. they have rallies and campgrouds out there and stuff. but i don't think i will go.
