I wasn't going to go out today. I decided to try a park I had hit earlier in the season. This time I went to the other side by the creek. I had my digger coil on my 705. It really killed it. My best clad day in one outing.
I found 28 clad coins totalling $1.49, all with in a 2 foot section of ground. The targets overlaped like crazy.I was digging plugs right next to each other. This sure was the mother of coin spills.
I am going to go back another time to check again. I left because I got tired and hungry.
I suspect the coins were unfound by children in a game that is played at picnics in my area. Its a coin hunting game. Coins are mixed into saw dust and children root thru the saw dust for coins. Its the only thing I can think of for that man coins to be in such a small area.
This is why I call the digger coil Baby WOT.
