Wheats

I went to the bank and bought some pennies and for the 2nd time i got a hole roll of Wheat pennies. :shock:

The oldest is an 1938. I hope my luck keeps up. Also i was wondering if any body ealse is having any luck with coin hunting. Chris

Yesterday morning I found a (1919 S) penny in pretty good condition at the beach.

I've only get a wheat or 2 out of each roll.
A whole roll like you got would be sweet.

I get on average around 20-25 wheats per $25 box when roll hunting, the most was a 96 wheat box just a few weeks ago, the oldest i've found was a 1910-P, and the most valuable was a 1912-S

i have found about 80 wheat pennies in about 7 box of pennies oldest was 1909

Hey Chris .....Chevy Chase bank made it a bank policy not sell you customer rolls anymore.
