AT Deep Signals?

How do you guys work deep signals with your AT? I read that if you get a deep signal with no number but a good sound you should dig it. I'm kind of gunshy on deep targets because when my M6 showed a deep signal it was always a can or large steel. Just looking for tips and pointers on deep signals.

Dug a 57 Rosie at 8 inches yesterday. No numbers , but enough of a squeaky broken high tone to get me interested. Tonight I dug a 1952 nickel at 8 inches that the numbers were all over or no number at all. I'd say if it sounds good and it's deep dig it. Especially in older places I did everything deep.
