When I first start metal detecting i honestly thought i would maybe just get a silver dime every now and then, but boy was i wrong. I honestly can not believe the stuff i've been finding. I was out camping for the weekend and was detecting the woods. I found six shotgun shells til I gave up and started heading back to camp. I was dragging the detector on the side of me just in case I got a good beep. (equinox 600 numbers- park one-multi frequency) I got a bouncy 18-26 signal and decided to quickly dig it i pulled out the possible KG II and started freaking out I ran the coil back over the hole and then got a solid 28-30 and at about a foot deep I pulled out a coin that said WE ARE ONE and literally almost pooped myself. I got up and about 2 feet to the left got another solid 18 and it was a toasted copper. The oldest coin spill I've ever found and the earliest American coin i will probably ever find not much could beat that... Honestly too scared to toothpick it and i just realized the KG II has holes that form a perfect T1 i thought it was just corroded but the holes line up too perfectly and the other side doesnt have it. any thoughts? Thanks for looking. I believe the fugio cent is the rounded club rays version
