It's the season of tear outs for me right now, I work and currently live in a area they are plentiful. This early one hour hunt scored me a really rough seated dime but seated it is. Tons of glass and relics were available for me to gobble up. Won't be the last time this location sees me.
Enjoy

Nice work Mike! Question...street tearout? Are the coins getting pock marked a result of road salt seeping through cracks and getting to the coins? I've never seen that on turf coins. Your thoughts?
Keep it going, looking good!

Thanks Kevin, not a street tear out but more of a demolition site of an old home/business..not real sure. I have to think its a result of salt seepage or more likely fertilizer of some sort who knows. like you speak of but in that spot its so hard to tell since it would be under where the building existed but anything could have happened in the last 100 years.
