I was out this morning at the Indian Fort gridding out an area near the house and got this beautiful quarter hit, two inches down. I checked the surface with my pinpointer but no joy so I dug a quick plug and out pops this cow. At first thought I figured it was aluminum but it felt a little heavy. A little cleaning revealed a 925 on the leg...SILVER!!! Just then the owner of the property came out and I asked if she ever lost any jewelry. She said only a pin in the shape of a cow that her husband had given her before he passed away three years ago. I gave her the pin and her eyes lit up...check out that smile!!! It made my day to reunite her with a keepsake from her deceased husband.
